Echocardiography
Non-invasive ultrasound imaging that creates detailed, real-time images of your pet's heart.
Electrocardiogram
A diagnostic test to assess the electrical activity of your pet's heart and detect rhythm abnormalities.
Holter Monitoring
Continuous heart monitoring over 24 to 48 hours to detect intermittent cardiac arrhythmias.
Interventional Cardiology
Catheter-based techniques to diagnose and treat heart diseases with reduced recovery times.
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
A veterinary electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is a diagnostic test that assesses the electrical activity of the heart. The test records electrical impulses created by the heart during contraction and relaxation cycles, offering insights into cardiac rhythm and conduction patterns.
Small adhesive electrodes are positioned on the animal's body, typically the limbs and chest area. These sensors detect and transmit cardiac electrical signals to an ECG machine, which converts the signals into a graphical representation.
